I think we will not experience many Win versions in the future ('til 2025). I guess the next after the Win era will be ChromeOS which is on it's way. Some bigger companies have started the phase-out already.

 

 

ChromeOS is the next thing. Redmond must be concerned





Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Google was in the house today (the guys, not just the downloads) and it seems there will be a huge change. G-Suite has started it's replacing task.





- NET: FTTH & VDSL, OPNsense, 10G backbone, GWN APs
- SRV: 12 RU HA server cluster, 0.1 PB storage on premise
- IoT:   thread, zigbee, tasmota, BidCoS, LoRa, WX suite, IR
- 3D:    two 3D printers, 3D scanner, CNC router, laser cutter
