Would anyone be interested in buying my HP MediaSmart Home Server? If anyone refers to the previous post on this (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=74&TopicId=19938) you can see that I purchased one in San Francisco in February this year.

It has 1TB of storage (2x 500GB drives), and still has the factory protective plastic on the sides (I take great care of my gadgets). I'll probably stick a listing on TradeMe at some stage, but off the top of my head I wouldn't really know how much it's worth. It's in perfect condition and still looks brand new.

If anyone is interested feel free to PM me with an offer, otherwise feel free to let me know what you think it might be worth out here.

My needs at home have changed and it has essentially become a glorified external hard drive, so it might as well go to someone who could take advantage of it and use it's remote access features as well as installing all the add-ons available for it or using it to stream iTunes music throughout the house to other computers.

Using the box to run a webserver is not greatly of interest but Mauricio has me interested in My Movies so I may try this soon

Just an update I have installed this app last night after it seems to have moved out of beta status.

Not all plain sailing just yet after the install my whs connector icons around the network keep popping up with alerts saying 'media encoder 9 installed' and 'downloading MySQL..' which would be all good but for the fact they have already installed and are up and running and 24 hours later the alerts keep coming.

I have reported the bug to the developer and just sent them a log file they requested.
