jamesvini: i find with 7 that all my games with starforce cd protection wont let me in :(
and Cod 4 on a punkbuster server kicks me out after 5 mins.
hopefully there will be some releses of patches soon.

There's a punk buster update for that problem if I recall correctly.

I installed a fresh copy of win7 64bit rtm, replaced the old vista, and i think its brillant! I have loaded a few games onto it and i feel like it runs smoother on 7 than on vista. Anything to do with directx 11 i wonder?

Now all i have to wait for is radmin to hurry and release version 3.4 cause 3.3 doesnt work with 7.

After playing with both 32 and 64 bit versions of RTM I settled on the 64 bit version.

Apart from needing to use a 64 bit Vista driver for my AVerMedia tuner card to help out Media Center the experience has been 'plain sailing' so far.

Yup, I've just migrated my primary rig across this weekend to Windows 7 RTM x64. No major issues here - totally sold so far.

I'm still waiting for it to hit the Action Pack download site (MAPS) all you lucky MSDN subscribers, and Windows Server 2008 R2 looks real good, Hyper-V especially with it's Live Migration.

I have two IBM x3650's and a SAN I want to do some testing on.

Running the Windows 7 RTM but we won't talk about how I got that :)

Upgraded my work RC to RTM without a hitch last Friday.

Downloads of the RC are no longer available from Microsoft, they removed this feature a couple of days ago.

If you look elsewhere be aware that there have been numerous stories of Windows 7 torrents being infected with trojans or viruses.

One of the Aussie PC magazines has the RC on it's cover DVD this month.

It will be too expensive just "to get Windows 7". You have access to all OS and developer software but it's a development/testing license only. It's not for production.

You find all the information you need here.
