Major retailers may have dropped the ball but thats not everyone. We have had 22 machines go out the door today with windows 7 on them preloaded. And have also sold a few copies oem style too.
So yes there is stock on shelves if you know where to look!

Yesterday I saw W7 home premium upgrade for $350!!! In Dick Smiths.

What a crud price, their entire W7 selection was 4 copies of home premium upgrade.

Cmon the price online for professional full was $300.

Lipex666: What a joke really  see NZ retail offers here wow what a blank page. The one link to Noel Leeming is just a static web page and no onlne store.  I was hoping to see Windows 7 special offers on pricing like a family pack for example, purchase online etc.  Plus a like to the UK shop and prices in pounds WTF

All the hype and nothing!!!!

I feel Microsoft and retailers have missed the ball here.

They didn't miss the ball, they missed New Zealand.

Wonder if NZ PC World will have on their November issue front page a repeat of the "We love Windows 7" just like they did with Vista or have they learned their lesson this time??

I can't deny I was there now. It's all there in full colour. Microsoft wanted evidence! Just in case no one believed there was a launch.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
