Beta 8.0.689 doesn't seem to work either. maybe you needed to add them with an earlier beta.

There's a special WLM-YI build which pop out last week in ideas.live.com but was taken down as quick as other sites started reporting it...

Me too. I've been using the Live Messenger Beta for months now without any problem. As soon as I installed the release version it showed the first crash - and reported back to the Microsoft HQ, somewhere.

Well I can say I made the beta crash....tried using it on dial up Surprised Locked up and then wouldn't restart, even after killing all related processes.

What the! 8.0.0792?!
After a couple of days of just released 8.0.0787... Microsoft brought out an updated build of Windows Live Messenger with build number of 8.0.0792 (which you can download from Microsoft)
