Successfully updated using the media creation tool update method. Took 26 minutes on a i7, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD.

(For those who can't wait) :)

Updated using a USB key. Not sure how long it took - less than 90 minutes probably as it was over between two episodes of a TV series...

It seems a bit faster on my HP laptop. Shame it reset a few default programs but easy to set to my liking.

I'm looking forward to:
A simplified upgrade process (don't have to go back to Windows 7 or 8) and a visible activation Product Key in settings.
A more consistent interface including context menus, power menu, task bar, window bars and logo match profile colour scheme, new icons, automatic resizing of adjacent snapped windows.

I had upgrade to Win10 from Win7. After some time, it has lost its activation and I can't reactivate with the Win7 key either. I've been avoiding having to reinstall Win7 to redo the upgrade. Not sure if this Win10 update will allow me to type in the Win7 key.. guess will find out soon enough!

Nice try, Microsoft, but I'm not going to start using Groove Music.

hio77: excited just to have the start menu changes... the 512 limit has really been quite a frustration - Although not enough that i have stepped into third party solutions...

What I think is rather weird is, "we've solved the 512 limit....by now having a 2048 limit!" undecided

I upgraded a couple of machines.

Both reverted to the UK keyboard on the login screen which meant it was a real pain to input the special characters in my password. After the initial login, it switched back to US English input for everything. I originally installed using the English-International ISO. This has happened a few times when upgrading to different insider preview releases as well :/

All of the VMs on my main workstation disappered from the Hyper-V console. I needed to get a couple of them up and running immediately so I rolled back the update. After I did so, they all reappeared. I'll export them before attempting another upgrade.

Yes, I'd rather they allowed you to shrink it rather than enlarge it. I don't use tiles, so whenever I open the Start menu to search (that's all I really use it for), I get this big block of empty space popping up.

Why does it install "Phone"... And why does it install all those modern apps I have already removed. I don't need things back, I like the way the machine is, thanks very much.

Maybe it is the Mrs Doyle of operating systems?

It feels faster, the context menu looks a lot better and overall working fine.

I can't seen to be able to find where to adjust font colour though. Depending on what image is on the background Windows selects some colours that are really hard to read:

I can change colours but only for the taskbar, title bar and background, but not for the font?

It installs them because it's an upgrade not an update yet

Please put this feedback in the Windows Feedback tool so work can be prioritized to address this.

Every thing seem to be working a lot faster with this update/upgrade.  Did the upgrade via USB stick.  One thing that did happen to mine was had to reload all my favourites in MS Edge. They were in the folder but did not show up when I wanted to use them.

Like it so far.
