Now where does this leave you... It's been pointed out a few times. Wipe. Reinstall - Use the oem key if you can obtain it.

 

TBH OP, you've spent more time on here typing than it would've taken to do a reinstall and had your answer :D

 

I know knowledge is good, but sometimes simple is best :)

To sum up

 

laptop has a ~pirated~ software install (unlicenced Win Pro)
wants a legit Pro license but wont pay for it
