*cough*

Make sure your serial is legit ;)

Yep thats where I ended up. I figure it doesnt matter where I get it as long as I have a serial.

Maybe MS should have used bittorrent to distribute the ISO's.

I'm still at work... waiting for time to know 5:30p.

Is the download server still busy? or it is reasonably alright now?

Thats why I use logmein (remote control) - I started my torrent off at 9.30am - getting around 50k at the moment which is better then nothing from the MS site. also the torrent that I have from mininova says its the EN version, not german.

Umm... just thought of something..

Is there any MD5 checksums for the ISO? i mean, downloading 3.2GB (x86) and 4.4GB (x64) can take hours, it would be real disappointing to find the download has completed but with bad CRC... would be handy to have MD5 Checksum for verifying the download.

I finished downloading mine early this morning and had it installed successfully.

The MD5 for the x86 English edition is:

I was getting that same server busy message this morning but after the 5th try I was able to start the download - It was averaging 350kb/sec off my xtra connection bursting up to 380/390.  Looking forward to installing tonight
