The site is still being rolled onto the public web, its not 100% operational right now

you might find it gives you an error when you try to download about product keys

Don't worry we know about it, and it should be all operational real soon now.

Cheers
Nathan

Windows Vista comes on a DVD, not CDs :)

If you are worried about blowing your broadband cap out in New Zealand: PM me your address and I will courier you a DVD (or send it to me via an email ( <firstname>.<lastname>@microsoft.com )

Please go through the website and register first.  You need to prove to me that you have registered and got a product key from the site before I'll courier it out

Please also let me know if you want 32 or 64 (ie X86 OR X64)

Cheers
Nathan

How do I get a product key? It keeps giving me an error message:

Thank you for participating in the Microsoft Windows Vista Customer Preview Program.

You have received the maximum number of Product Keys available for this program.
Note:  Windows Vista Beta 2 can be installed and activated on up to 10 PCs using with one Product Key.

Or did you mean to get a product key after the page has been fixed?

I've placed an order for the DVD. Will they send me a x86 or x64 edition, or both? It seems they are sending from Singapore. Hmm..

I'm getting the same error on the download page.

I just found a way to get around this. Select Germany from the Drop-down Location List. That will get you a Product Key + links to all three languages of the file.

Trade NZ and US shares and funds with Sharesies (affiliate link).

There seems to be another problem with the download servers. I got passed the product key page but it doesn't seem to be downloading smoothly. It gets to somewhere around 30MB and it stops, and say Download Completed.

On second look at Nathan's post he did mention the product key error so I retract my earlier moaning.

Can anyone confirm what build is this? If it's 5384 or newer...

Nathan,

I have sent you my details and Vista serial key.

I had to select the Germany option as the New Zealand one still isn't working.

Thanks for you generosity.

Yes its 5384

_the_ beta 2 build - 5384.4 to be exact

There will be nothing newer until the first RC1 build drop will go out to TechBeta late June/early July
