gehenna: Installed it on a spare Surface Laptop Go, and boy oh boy it's snappy and polished!

Another vote for 'fixed version of 10'? ; ). The biggest thing on my wishlist is system wide search that actually works and fast. It's so trivial to get right and has not worked and fast since '95. I have no expectations ; (.

I'll ignore it as usual and take the snappy and polished everywhere else with gratitude tho. : )

I was blown away by the amount of 'tech professionals' who usually go on and on about how secure they are, then proceed to install an unofficial leaked OS on their device.

If there is/was any malware in there they would have got a lot of people very good.

Anyone with experience will install this on a spare device and keep it separate from the rest of their network, as I have. Most people blogging about this seem to have taken that approach too, at least in my reading circle.

I saw a clip about Windows 11 on Linus Tech Tips, they could only get it working using VirtualBox

Weird, it's simple to install on hardware. Are you sure they didn't just do a VM to keep it safe?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

At the start it kept erroring saying the hardware they were running wasn't supported, and it seemed like fairly recent stuff (both Intel and AMD)
