This is probably a driver issue, but my Intel 975BX2 board's audio circuitry shows up as stereo only - and I can only get sound in the L/R satellites plus the subwoofer, not in the side L/R speakers. The Vista sound control panel only shows "Stereo" and not surround.

Intel's download site has drivers for all the Windows versions ever, but not Vista... hmm.
