My Windows messenger [ver. 8.0.0812] is forgetting me.
I continue to click "remember me" and every day or every 2 days [never constant] it clears all my details and yet again i have to put it all in again AND click Remember me

Any ideas?

Welcome to Geekzone... I would say is something related to the registry on your PC. Perhaps it's corrupted? Have you rebooted between these attempts?

with modern desktops, and the rate at which they are replaced, i wouldnt worry at all about "being better for it". I often have my home laptop running for a week or more, but thats just laziness on my part. Windows loves a good reboot :-P

update your antivirus now, or delete it. Its useless without updates.... really really useless.

Download and install Avast! or AVG (both good)
