how can i access files on the main pc off this one. both computers are concted to the same router using lan cables for internet. someone help me out

You have to "share" a folder from the PC hosting the files, and on the client PC you have to "map" (open File Explorer, Tools, Map). You have to map using a notation like \\ip address\share or \\computername\share and if the username and passwords are not the same then you have the option to "map using another username".

Make sure you have your firewalls properly configured to allow this to work...
