Sorry in advance didnt know quite where to put this
Like a lot of people I have two montors and my laptop on my desk
I am thinking of changing to one bigger monitor rather than the two whatare they? 21-23 inch?
what your thoughts

Can never have enough monitors. I've got three 22" for work and going home to my single 24" just doesn't cut it.

Having said that I wouldn't go out and buy anything smaller than 24" these days, and also try get 1920x1200 or larger over 1920x1080.

I used to use a 30" and a 20" at work which was pretty awesome, need a big desk though!
I use a 27" monitor at home, running off a docked laptop. That's ample screen space for me as a draughtsperson.

i use to have a fairly large single monitor, i forget the size maybe 28", but prefer two 22" over that. Rather have to apps full size side by side.

my current work setup is 2 x 24" and 1 22".

Two monitors are the best. Great for comparing things, or seperating things out.

Often I have two spreadsheets open - one on each screen where I can copy between them.

Other times I have my email open on one where i can monitor it, while I work on something else on the other screen.

I have 2 x 24" monitors and its great. It gives you lots of freedom to do one thing in screen one while doing other things on screen 2. I normally play music and brose the webs on screen 2. On screen 1 I watch movies etc. For work sometimes I need to remote into different servers etc so having 2 screens means I have 1 server in one screen and the other server in the other one.

With your laptop check to see if you can actually have 2 monitors connected or you can have 1 external monitor and use your laptop screen as the second one.

running 2 monitors as well. One 27 inch 1440p big daddy and the second a 23 inch small fry... its very hand to have... got the 27 inch cz i am a media person, so love watching movies on that. 2 24 inch screens are perfectly fine and I would highly recommend it for power users or enthusiasts.

not really for people who use a computer to check emails fb and thats it..

I have 3 monitors at home:
20" in landscape mode - for monitoring, command shells, notifications, apps that run all the time
24" in landscape mode - the center monitor
24" in portrait mode - for browsing, reading

Yeah, dunno about that. Ive tried in the past but I prefer one big monitor. Ive got a 27 inch monitor which is fine for comparing or copying things between windows.

Windows 7/8 ability to dock windows side by side has helped a lot. I find two monitors is too much head turning. Plus I would usually just leave my email running on one which was pointless.

And before you ask, Yes, I work in a "visual" job (maps etc) so yes space is premium but I prefer one monitor.

I gotta have symmetry or it drives me nuts. At home we have two identical Acer 24" LED screens. Very nice.

At work I have a 22" screen and my 12.5" Elitebook screen. Hate they are different, but I will live.

two 22" screens on one PC, and waiting for a second 22" for the other PC. One screen is less useful for multitasking...if I had my way, I'd have one PC and 4 monitors, would make life so much easier. At home I have networked my Laptop and my surface tablet so that I can still work with two screens, and if thats not good enough...good old HDMI to my 32" flatscreen.

Are you using Windows and Excel? If so, what method are you using for having a spreadsheet on each monitor?
