For anyone not being able to activate "aero" even wehn they have a GPU from NVIDIA may find this useful,

http://public.www.planetmirror.com/pub/guru3d/nvidia/?l=330&fl=

or search: 9746-vista-x86-[Guru3D.com] on google.

After days of trying to get the Aero theme this has been the only driver to work for me, Its great and raised performance score to 3.4

Or you could download the offical version from NVIDIA from here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_97.46.html which is a much better idea.

This was posted here a couple of weeks ago, it's the offical RTM driver.

NVIDIA have released a few beta ones since then, the most recent one beein 100.59: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_100.59.html

This one is the best so far, My Geforce 6600GT previously only got a score of 1 with every past driver. Now gets a 4.9

I tried that one several times and got a message saying I did not have the right hardware. Is it suitable for notebooks?

Which series GeForce Go do you have?

www.laptopvideo2go.com usually has the latest Vista drivers for laptops. Check them out.
