Can MS Vista's new ReadyDrive technology work on XP?

It looks really nice in saving a little power.

In a nutshell, no.

ReadyDrive, ReadyBoost etc rely on SuperFetch and other memory management changes in Windows Vista kernel

In other words its not possible to backport this to XP as a hotfix or into a service pack
