I would just like to say here a big thank you to Microsoft for their help today in activating Windows 8.  I hope its okay doing a separate thread as I felt it would be buried in the other one.

I contacted Microsoft on the Microsoft Home page.  The reply was in around 4 hours but I wasnt able to reply until 9pm.  Within 5 minutes I had a reply with a code to activate my Windows 8.  I honestly didnt expect it this time of night as it is outside normal business hours.  I can understand with phone activation but not through email.

So I felt a big thank you was required.

Quite often we are quick to complain and seldom say thank you when we have been helped.

So once again a big thank you.
