Going through the Windows 8 store for apps, it seems super lacking, with most categories on the main menu there is just a stock image...In other regions it seems to be different with a lot more going on - a featured app for every category.

Who maintains the NZ Windows 8 store?

Great.

As it stands the store doesn't highlight great apps as well as other stores.  Top Paid Games for example throws you into basically a list of small tiles that quickly become overwhelming.  It would be good to see this changed into larger tiles that do a better job of drawing in a buyer, and a market structure that doesn't just immediately dump you into a list.

I'd agree, I don't like navigating through it, it feels directionless. Like there are people who just put apps in the front of the queue for no reason.
