After recently getting our plasma back after a long holiday on its 2nd repair, I have rebuilt my Gigabyte HA91 MCE 2005 machine. Previously, I was having huge trouble getting my once-working EPG to function again. This has been solved.

I now have:

A clean install of MCE 2005
WiFi (usb WiFi adapter)
All channels (including 1,2,3) provided by the Sky decoder (with MCE changing the channel)
EPG working for all channels for 5 days in advance
Webguide setup and working so I can book programs with EPG remotely from the web (including a Pocket PC portal)
Streaming over the network/web is working intermittently, but is not important to me.

A ghost image of the above setup (shoulda done it last time!)

I was pleased to get Webguide working so quickly, as the HA91 is a different subnet with a router and a WiFi bridge connection to my ADSL router in the garage. Just set up normal port forwarding to the 2nd router, and again from there to the HA91, and it works a charm!

What I really want to know, is what other add-ons or functionality have you installed/enabled on your MCE machines?

i have a script that runs on my recorded tv folder, whenever there is new content in there it compresses and converts it to divx and pops the new copy into a different folder that i'm watching, then removes the original content.  lovely.
