Hi Folks,

I want to mount a SDXC card on my surface pro. Usually just create a folder on c drive and in disk management under the appropriate option choose mount in following empty NTFS folder. However, the latter option is disabled.

Anyone know how to get this enabled?

I went through the same thing with setting up the sd card on my surface rt, you need to use mklink from the command line. a quick google will give you the correct syntax for this.

after I did this it took a while before photos, videos and music started showing in the apps. I think I had to add a file in the root of the photo folder for it to be indexed.

I wish Microsoft would make this process a lot easier as isn't the most user friendly
