Cant dual boot in Windows 8 pro!?!!?!

I've bought myself a pretty budget windows 8 laptop because I thought it was time for an upgrade. And I liked it until I tried to get to the BIOS and once I got all done with... I tried to dual boot Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) and Windows 8 (pro) of course Windows 8 being already installed on the computer. I get no option to boot into either OS and it continuously starts into Windows. I've tried disabling secure boot. There is also an option for "Legacy Support" but whenever I try to change this it warns me that I may make my system unbootable. Any ideas?

Thanks, but that doesnt really help because I've never been good with UEFI. So anyways, What do you think I can do to fix the issue I have?

Did you try typing UEFI windows dual boot Linux into a search engine?

I just found a post on it. It seems very painfully long and you cannot have a new Windows 8 PC :( so I guess it means I cant dual boot. Thanks for your help anyhow. I'll still be on the lookout for more ways to try and dual boot. Because Windows 8 gives me a headache.

(I'm a noob, sorry :/ ) If I formatted my Windows 8 pro (UEFI and Secure boot) HDD would I be able to install Ubuntu over it with no issues?
