Hi,

Windows 8.1 has stopped you being able to schedule system image backups via GUI in control panel, I need this pretty bad as if the Windows boot breaks during a shoot (I'm a photographer) I need all my software up and running ASAP so I don't waste the clients time, it's also important as it restores it back to exactly how it was set up. My SSD doesn't respond if I have to hard cycle my machine due to a system hang that won't go away. I think you can schedule Image backups using powershell's Wbadmin but setting it up is a bit over my head. I would like to be able to back up an image of C: every evening at 19:00 to drive F:

I would like this to replace the existing backup on the drive. If anyone could put that together in the proper syntax that would be truly appreciated.

Think I may have solved it myself using task scheduler!

Just running through the custom task now to see if it will work as intended.

Make sure you do a test restore to ensure it works

Also have both your system image, as well as your storage files as two seperate items to backup - if the system image fails, you will still want to do a manual rebuild by reinstalling windows and your applications, then be able to select your individual (or all) project files to restore.
