Hi there my Ethernet switch on my mother board (desktop) is faulty, when i turn my PC on it doesn't work but works after I disable and re-enable it in device manager.

This problem persists over several OS installs (windows and Linux) and no matter how many times I install a new driver the problem persists.

Ive had the issue for long enough now that Ive learned to deal with it and will in the future either replace the motherboard or get a seperate Ethernet (prob gigabit) controller OR BOTH.

What I want to know is, can I automate this process? Is there a way to create a batch file / script to execute after boot up (prob in startup menu) and disable then re-enable my Ethernet device.

Thanks in advance
