okay, so yesterday i decided to use spybot to check for any malware etc that malwarebytes may have missed, and i deleted everything it
suggested.
now, it seems the arrows and search box have "dissapered" but still there when i hover over them, what program would it use , so i can re install it? (eg flash etc)

Can you post a screen shot?
What arrows and search box are you talking about?

Have the files been deleted or quarantined by Spybot? Do you have a record of the deleted files e.g. a Spybot log file?

Many people get more damage from blindly following clean-up suggestions than they get from malware.
