Does anyone know if there is any conceivable way to get the TAP drivers working on Windows 8.1?

I went to install the device manually at which point it said the driver had to be digitally signed. Fine. Turned off digital signature requirements. But then it says Windows has disabled this device due to an outdated driver and I have to see the manufacturer for a new driver.

Is there really no way to have OpenVPN on Win 8.1?
