I have a laptop that will only install windows off PXE. Its a business one with one of those preset BIOS keys that noone knows the password to.

What I want to do:

Install Windows Server on my main PC as a VM. Bridge the network to the nic. Disconnect from my main network and plug the laptop in via a router that isn't DHCP enabled.

Then install Windows 7 via WDS to the laptop.

Will this work?

I have WDS running on Server 2012 on a virtualbox VM.
Does not need a domain and does not need to be disconnected from the rest of the (home) network.

Does an "italian tune up" work on computers?
