So I have just ordered a Dell Venue 8 Pro from amazon for $251NZD half the price dell are selling them on the NZ dell website.

Will post updates on shipping costs from youshop.

Very cheap when you consider the pricing of android tablets from NZ.

It will go nicely with my Nokia lumina :)

I had wondered about the 8inch form factor with windows 8.1 I did prefer it to 10inch on android.

Do dell do international warranty?

Plug the USB power in upside down, yes the plug is rectangular so it goes both ways, which bends the pins. I'm hearing overseas when you send it back in the replace the Micro AB plug with a normal one

I was hoping up pick one up before Xmas when they were selling for US$199 but the Microsoft store wouldn't accept any form of payment I could offer it. You've got me thinking I need one again now!

Amazon has them for $206.99 with free shipping with in the US. Its a great deal considering it includes office 2013

Nathan I don't know if you could tell me if I could use the MS office key that comes with the dell on another machine instead of installing it on the tablet?
I have not upgraded on my desktop and it would be nice to run the latest version of office as I doubt I would be doing much word processing on the tablet.

I believe you "can" but I'm not sure if you are licensed to move it off the Tablet

All Surface power supplies are compatible, since this is a US 2 pronged plug you'll just need a converter with angle pins to plug it into NZ wall socket
