many graphics drivers also have companion utility app/control panel that can store profiles, and use menu or hotkey to change profile.  AMD, Intel, NVidia etc.  Alternatively you could try something like PowerStrip

Difficult one.

Best way is to have the games in windowed but no borders.

Most games use DirectInput to capture the mouse, which means those utility programs are of no help.  Games like World of Warcraft do as TimA suggests, allowing you to set the game to the same resolution as the monitor, in Windowed mode, with no borders.  That means the mouse can move outside the game's captured region.  Otherwise, you're out of luck.  Most of the time, clicking outside the game's region will result in the window minimizing anyway.

Many games have an option for windowed maximised/borderless eg: Wow, Left 4 Dead, Dota2.

With games that don't you're pretty much out of luck.

Here's a left field suggestion. If you have another (i.e. lower end spec) PC, you can connect that to the second monitor for desktop features and use Synergy to link the two, device and conquer?
