Hi GeekPeeps,

I'm pretty rusty on Things Windozy... Not-So-idly wondering whether it's time to U/G my WinXP VM(s) to Win 8.

What's the Cheapest way of obtaining a legitimate Win 8 Pro to run in a VM?

Cheers!

...and yes, /i know I'm well behind the 8-ball on this ( ;-) )... I seldom have the need to run Windows, so it's simmered in the background for quite some time :-)

TIA

Do you need to bother?  What does the VM do for you?

If you are a staff or student at an eligible education provider, you can get Windows 8 Professional for $90 from the Microsoft store online in NZ.

Do whatever you want to do man.
