Dear all,

I bought and installed a copy of Office 2013 professional plus for $10 through work.

I clicked on the email link and away it went.

Except it got to 56% according to pop-up in notification area then froze.

After no progress from leaving pc running all night I rebooted.

Clicking on the uninstall option in control panel doesn't do anything.

But.... Word and excel seem to work fine...

So should I keep calm and carry on, or investigate how to delete it and reinstall?

What happens when you simply try installing it again?

ETA: Instead of trying to uninstall, did you try clicking on "Change"? This should give you the repair option, which will hopefully solve the problem.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

We had the same problem with customer's machine.

Microsoft gave us some links to download and run, one of them being the full Office install image so it didn't need to do the streaming installation.

Uninstallation FIXIT 2013:

Office pro plus 2013:

You will want to use the uninstallation FIXIT to remove the corrupt installation as we found that while it looked like it was OK there were some features that didn't work.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
