Hi

I have a Windows 7 desktop, which I want to network to my Apple Lap top (but only one folder on my C drive) with read only permissions.
How do I do this please ?

Thanks

They both use Samba, so right click on the folder you want to share and you'll be able to set permissions through the sharing menu. It's better to go to the advanced menu through properties. Then you can set "everyone" with "read only" and you won't have issues with the Mac not having permissions.
