I have just replaced my existing Sony TV with a new Samsung TV attached to my HTPC. Now every time I turn off the Samsung connected to my HTPC via HDMI, Windows makes the hardware disconnection sound. When I turn the TV back on, the resolution in Windows Media Center is wrong (too low) and I have to close and reopen WMC in order to correct it. This never happened with my Sony TV. I also leave my HTPC on 24/7.
Any ideas on how I can fix this issue?
