I left my computer on the other day, and when I came back, it was back at the login screen. I logged in, and an error advised that the system had restarted after a critical error. It later locked up, both screens went blank, and was un-useable. I turned it off and left it.
Today I tried starting it, and it would start loading windows, then both screens would go blank. I managed to get into safe mode, I uninstalled the drivers for the graphics card, and rebooted. It then loaded windows, but the screen looked like it was still in safe mode (screen shot attached). It automatically re-installed the graphics card, and rebooted. Upon rebooting, it fails to load into windows again, and both screens go blank before it gets there.
Is this a graphics card related issue? I believe it is a NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS or similar? Running Windows 7 Home Premium, 6GB of RAM. It has been incredibly reliable until now.
