Boss wants a TV in our front office that cycles information from a few of our different websites etc as well as other information.

I've googled to my hearts content and can't really find what Im looking for.l

Any idea? 

We have spare PC's and are willing to buy things like Raspberrry Pi's

There were some screen savers that did it. I think apples screensaver, or at least one of their old ones displayed RSS feeds.

You could run XBMC/Kodi and use the RSS ticker plugin. You can also have the RSS feed overlaid on a video you're playing in the background.
