I have run the Vista NZ Daylight Savings patch, Windows6.0-KB933360-x86.msu, on Vista Ultimate and Vista Business desktops and on each occassion it has correctly set the "Start day" to first Sunday of September but has NOT altered the "Last Day" setting ie. it is left as third Sunday of March but should be first Sunday of April (used TZEdit.exe to check).  Has anyone else had this problem?  I phoned Microsoft Support and they said they would investigate.  The XP patch works correctly on XP machines.

The start date is the 3rd Sunday in September which is the 30th September this year. I'm guessing it was a typo saying the first Sunday in September?

Yes it was a typo.  patch sets "start day" to Last Sunday of September which is correct.  "Last day" is incorrect though.

I can confirm on my Vista Ultimate install using auto update that this is the same. My XP update is correctly showing the first Sunday in April.

Oops looks like MS have made a rather large boo boo here...

Good spotting... I've forward this to someone at Microsoft NZ as well.
