I just switch to an SP3 for work.

I have it set up via a docking station with two external monitors, I am extending the desk top from the built in screen to the two externals.

Great set up for working, but I am having an issue.

It keeps dropping one of the two external displays (display 3) on start up.

Display 3 switches to standby but windows seems to think it is still operating.  I say this because windows seems to open items on display 3, and I can still move the mouse pointer through it and into another screen.

It's easily fixed by disconnecting monitor 3 and then extending desktop to it again, but doing this on start up is a PITA.

Pressing the power button on display 3 doesn't help.

Suggestions for a fix?

My video set up is as follows: -

-mDP to 2 x DP adapter plugged into the dock.
- 2 x DP to VGA adapters
- VGA cables to monitors (not DP compatible)

do you have the March 2015 Surface firmware/hardware updates installed?

if not, which version do you have?

Both are Phillips 200WS.

the monitor that isn't working always displays "no input" before switching to standby.  I've checked and the input is set to analog.
