I'm not being impatient or anything, but I had the new Windows 10 logo pop up on my desktop months ago. So I duly filled out the form with the promise of getting an email notification when ready.

So presumably I'm not ready for it yet?

Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all...

Just checked Windows Update and found message Win 10 ready to upgrade. Update now in progress. May be your turn is soon. Cheers

When it is ready, you should get a blue popup graphic from the windows 10 taskbar icon (the one next to the clock).

The W10 app still tells me that I will be notified when its ready. However ran a couple of updates (in the normal update window) and suddenly W10 is showing in that list as an available update ready to download. Back to the W10 app and still saying it will notify me...huh? I didn't have time to see if I could run the update last night, but outward appearances is that I can run the upgrade through the normal update process.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
