I have a sticky Bluetooth system tray icon that I can't get rid of on my Lenovo branded Vista laptop.

Right Click - Remove Bluetooth Icon removes the icon, but that only works until the system is rebooted.

In the Bluetooth Devices options in Control Panel under the "Options" tab there is an option "Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area" which is unticked when I have "Removed Bluetooth Icon" in the system tray (as above).

I have tried all permutations playing with this tickbox - I have ticked it, restarted, then unticked (which removed the icon), but regardless of the state of this tickbox, the bluetooth try icon persists.

I've googled but the only hits I get teach people how to get into the Control Panel to untick the box :/
