Has anyone else experienced any issues after this morning Windows 10 updates? I updated my Surface 3 and immediately had blue screening, freezing and al manner of issues. In order to reset I had to obtain the recovery bitlocker keys and it is slowly rebuilding.

All there was in the updates from memory was the accumulation update, Malware defender update.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Yeah my PC did OK and has experienced no hassles at all, even the Photo App survived. My Surface 3 though just absolutely bricked itself immediately  after rebooting post update

Is there some kind of ssd integrity scan you can run on that thing? Maybe a memcheck86 and the standard internal diagnostic as well. Combined with other issues you have mentioned prev hardware diag seems sensible even tho probs are unlikely.

semigeek: Is it the update mentioned here?

No, that has not been released yet. This was just normal routine updates

I updated several Win 10 Pro  x64 PCs today without any problems:

My Surface has rebuilt successfully so fingers crossed.

Windows 10 is definitely not my friend this week

I am guessing you are on the slow ring that just got 10586 today. I am on Fast ring and there were updates today that put me on 10586.3. Possibly to a check for new updates and see if there is anything there.

10240 is RTM, what does it show under advanced in setting/updates as to what insider ring you are on?
