Is there an eta on when the Surface Book will come to New Zealand? Apologies if this has already been addressed but I can't seem to find any information online and nothing is mentioned on the Microsoft Online Store either.

I remember the Surface NZ page answering a couple customers upon announcement that it will not be coming to NZ anytime soon. The best people to ask will be them.

PB Tech will apparently parallel import the Surface Book. Starts from over $4k for the lower end model from memory. Sorry on my phone so can't link.

Eeek, I'd be better off going for a Surface Pro 4 or maybe the XPS 13.3" if that is the case.

It really is insane in terms of price.

I think they've taken off their website while they're having a sale.

They had the i7 8GB RAM 256GB SSD with GPU I think for 4100NZD.  Yeah expensive, but it is a decent model, not the lower end.

correct, there is no NZ launch date yet sorry.

Australia is the closest country that has them, so you could parallel import from there.

Microsoft has announced that Surface Book will be available in New Zealand.

Coming off a great holiday in the US and Canada, we are excited to bring Surface to more people in more markets. Surface Book recently became available for pre-order in China and Hong Kong and today, I’m pleased to share that it will soon be available in a total of 10 new markets. Starting tomorrow, customers will be able to pre-order Surface Book in Austria, Australia, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, and New Zealand and it will be coming soon to Japan. We’re also excited to bring Surface Pro to India in the coming weeks.
