I finally had one freeze up to many and patience ended. I filled a support claim and sending it off to MSFT, it is still under warranty so I am feeling confident.

Mine is freezing solid. I have to do the Power+Volume to get it going again.

Very unimpressed with Microsoft, I have an email from MS Support confirming my Surface was bring replaced then confirmation it had been sent. Well it arrived today, they have send my original Surface back to me, all they did was factory reset it. Start it up and the same crashing occurs.

Not cool at all MS

You are having a horrific run right now :-(

We have had about 3 need to go back.  Customers have sworn off them now.

I swear using Microsoft products these days is like death by a thousand cuts.

We've had a fairly significant number of SP3's with issues, not a great success story unfortunately.

Had a play with an SP4 and a Surface Book yesterday, SP4 is mostly more of the same unsurprisingly, the Surface Book is a lovely piece of hardware but the price is pretty out there.

It was suggested by Surface Support on my return visit to them (phone back) that I try a factory reset, even though that has been tried many times including by Surface Support. But I complied and this is what I get when trying to set up the device immediately post reset. I never get to put anything in. The machine is now bricked.

Glad to hear it.

It's not quite an Apple Care response though! I am amazed that they do not sell a similar product.
