Hi Folks,
I'm just testing out Windows Server 2016 CTP4 with the Server essentials role. I've set it up and joined my win 10 machine (latest build) to the domain.  Currently I am logged in using my Microsoft Account and want to keep doing that and I understand I can link this to my domain account.

The issue is, I cannot find the option for doing this - does anyone know how?

Regards
Andy

You log with your domain account and THEN go to settings and add your Microsoft account to that.

Presumably there is also domain policy related to this or your org docs would potentially sync to a personal account.

freitasm: You log with your domain account and THEN go to settings and add your Microsoft account to that.

Unfortunately doing this creates an entirely new profile with a new set of document folders etc.  It also looks like I also always have to login with my domain account on the machine (which requires remembering two sets of credentals and I want to avoid).

I have tried the work-access menu, but when you select add work or school account, it just switches back to main menu.

Editing is open for one hour only.

Edit: Long time ago iirc it was 10 min,. 1 hour seems to work good.

That's how it is though... You first log into the domain then you link the Microsoft Account. The Microsoft account will be used for Microsoft Store and personal OneDrive.

Work/school access is different. This is for lite weight management using MDM and Azure AD Join not on premises domain join.

As Mauricio says, logon with domain account, then link MSA
