Hi

I have just disabled Cortana from my win 10 home pc.
However I am still being forced to enter my Microsoft ID and password every time i log in.

I want to disable this and just log in to my PC (this is a home PC) so not bothered around password protection.

Thanks

Easy as..

run "netplwiz"

untick "users must enter a username and password to use this computer"

The views expressed by me are not necessarily those of my employer

OK... I have used both local and ms accounts; and both work fine?

to setup a local account search "manage your account"
then  "sign in with a local account instead"

I use a Microsoft account and home and don't log in
Not using a W10 machine at work, so I'll try and see what settings I have set when at home
