Hi

The 'e' key from my laptop keyboard fell off but it seems the plastic bit is broken is there any way of getting a new 'e' key or do I have to replace the whole keyboard? If I have to replace the whole keyboard were would I get a replacement from? and how much?

Model: Dell Inspiron 1501

Thanks

Hi

I don't think you can replace individual keys on a keyboard.  With the cost of a new keyboard you might as well get a new one.
Try ascent.co.nz   Just check what connector your keyboard uses (round = PS/2  Square=USB).  Any model keyboard will work as long as the connector is correct.

Cheers,
Grant

P.S  I have the same problem.. my 'E' key is wearing out so need to get a new keyboard at some stage. :)

ooh.. different story then.  You could contact Dell and see.. Else keep an eye open for a real cheapie (ie: faulty) on trademe.  Steal a key off it and resell it

does anyone have a Logitech DiNoVo Edge keyboard? i've had one for about a year now and one of my keys got knocked so the attachment is broken meaning its at an odd angle most of the time and slightly loose. anyone know if Logitech supplies replacement keys?
