Is there a (free) app that will monitor my data usage so I dont have to visit the ISP site all the time to check usage?
Thanks.

What ISP are you using?

Traffic Usage Checker is the best tool out there.

i use netlimiter and it works a charm.

it has a built in firewall and it has real-time speed graphs for your whole system or individual programs and counts usage for both too. you can limit downloads as well as uploads, you can even schedule it to limit/uncap programs and ports during specific time periods - say if you're on go large still and don't wana be knocked down if you use more than 700mb during peak time this is very handy.

also handy if you need to cap uploads - if you use p2p and your uploads count towards your internet cap this is good for making sure they don't exceed what you want.

i paid for my version but you should check and see if theres a free or a trial version.
