to those who've upgraded from one version of vista to another, did all your applications work or did you need to reinstall some applications or had errors?

do you think upgrading leaves behind phantom vista files (ie result in larger disk usage [by vista only] than a clean reinstall of vista)?

I had two experiences (I did it for testing)

I upgraded from Business to Ultimate

1) By inserting the Vista DVD when am logged in as Administrator from Business and everything went fine but some of my drivers like Sound drivers didnt work after upgrade

2) By rebooting the machine and choosing the Upgrade path from Business to Ultimate and everything worked fine

But finally I just took backup of my system and installed Ultimate from scratch Tongue out

ah i don't like upgrading, always leaves files behind and causes annoying driver issues. im a firm believer in setting up any operating system from scratch. especially vista.
