Windows 7 required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing

Its a install using my windows 7 disc... I see this is a common issue with some usb install but this is a purely DVD install.. whats going on here, why cant things just fall in line as they should, arrrrgh, I am very near to chopping up this laptop with an axe..

Windows 7 doesn't have the correct drivers to see your hard drive, you need to either put your SATA controller to IDE in the BIOS or slipstream the drivers into the installation.

Or do a USB install..... use Rufus to create a bootable USB.

So..how do I go about doing that? as in slipstream them? is there a service pack or something I need to put it, I already tried disabling the AHCI or whatever thats called, what a bother.. sorry I have been out of the computer stuff for a while and need to get my head wrapped around this, I am a tech dinosaur, these anti dino technologies are getting to us humble dinosaur people.
