Wondering if anyone can help me out here
Am trying to open an email attachment that requires adobe 8.2 which I downloaded, but, when I try to open the attachment, I get the following message     "this file does not have a program with it for performing this action.  Create an association in  the set association control panel".    Have searched everywhere I can think of to find such location, tried to follow the instructions with the d/load with no sucess
Running Firefox on windows Vista
Thanks

Adobe is a company, not a product, so I assume you are talking about Adobe Acrobat.

If that is the case, the file should have a .PDF extension. If you can't open it directly in Firefox, right click the link and choose Save Target As to save it to a folder on your computer. When you double click it to open it, Windows should open in Acrobat Reader for you. If not, it will ask which application you want to use, so browse to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8\Reader and choose acrord32.exe
