In preparation for Vista SP1, one set of advice suggested that I should run sfc /scannow from the command prompt while run as administrator.

I receive the following output after Windows completes the scan:

===
Verification 100%  complete.Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
===

But I cannot even OPEN those logs (tries to open in Notepad but get error to say that the "file cannot be opened").

Does this matter and what do I do about it??

Ok I got some help from someone to access the log files.

But when I read through it, it would appear that everything checked out ok?? I can't see any evidence (to the lay person) of any errors in the log file.

The log file is here:

Would someone who understands this stuff please kindly assist as I would really like to resolve all this as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.
