Is there any way to get SMART hard disk information about hard drives in a storage spaces mirror?

The drives can't be individually addressed with a drive letter in Windows, so most software doesn't even know they exist. Most just see the virtual drive.

Thanks @solutionz, Get-PhysicalDisk works. However I can't address it further as both my disks have the same friendly name. The reference doesn't seem to let you reference by disk serial number. Any more ideas?

Should be able to select by SerialNumber or UniqueId:

Perfect, done, thanks! No problems with my disks. Had to run PowerShell as admin.

If you need more detail, have a look at HD Sentinel.. It's not perfect but it's by far the best software I've found for seeing underlying physical drives for a huge variety of RAID controllers, and it will give you a lot more data (e.g. all the raw values, bad sector count, reallocated sector count, CRC errors, transfer errors etc) rather than just whether SMART has tripped. Often drives start to die well before SMART finally trips, and often they die without SMART ever tripping.

I had effectively a RAID mirror so I'm ok with not having fault predicting software. I also have a backup system verging on paranoia that assumes my house will burn down right after something important goes onto the computer.
